Data Policy

Selection is restricted to documented, public instances where a named individual or group explicitly identifies Jesus as the Christ or Messiah. Sources individually checked 18 October 2026. Accessible official English sources are overrepresented; this sample is uneven across periods, traditions, languages and regions. A dated public declaration does not establish present private beliefs. General Christian affiliation, other titles alone, anonymous accounts, or merely quoting someone else's confession do not qualify. Distinguish biblical narratives, translated writings, official transcripts, republished named statements and personal testimonies. Do not claim exhaustive coverage.
